I love this place!I recently purchased two of their mens wool sweaters and they’re lovely. I noticed a small hole in one of them a few weeks ago and brought it back in, the owner repaired it on the spot for me. I can’t tell there ever was a hole now! Fantastic service.

Their pantry selection includes harder to find items, including iron bru. They have a wonderful selection of sweets, including lozenges, chocolate and. An impressive selection of jams, marmalades and pickles. They have a small frozen section.. Also a nice selection of quality, bags and tartan wares. And of course accessories.

Wow, just been in and the shopkeeper is a right knob. Deliberately rude.Also, no flowers in this half-empty shop despite the very suggestive name. Should be called No Flowers and Not Much More.

I’ve been in this shop a few times over the years. The owner was generally a bit grumpy and offers no help. He just watches television and answers “No” if you ask for something he doesn’t have, points in a direction if it’s something he does have.Tonight, however, he reached a new low. I walked in to see if they had a British treat my wife enjoys and he starts going after a woman in her 60s. She picked up a box and put it down, slightly askew. He immediately came over and chastised her, saying she made a mess and must straighten up the box. When she expressed her shock, he told her she had to leave the shop. I told him how rude he was and he told me to leave too.I’m not sure what this guy’s problem is but he treats customers like trash. I highly recommend avoiding his sky-high-priced goods and search for some other British import shop.

This is one of the best stores in the Durham region. The lady at the counter is always helpful and polite. It is a wonderful place if you are looking for things from across the pond.
